Job summary

Parsons in Canada seeks an experienced Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) leader to develop and guide a nationwide team of discipline professionals. You will expand SE&I capabilities across infrastructure, systems, and rolling stock, building teams from Vancouver to Toronto and collaborating with North America and global colleagues.

You will own key discipline activities, support bid development, ensure project performance, and help shape Parsons' capabilities to win in Canada's Critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 15+ years of engineering management experience on large-scale, complex transit programs.
• Proven people leader with experience managing high-performing SE&I project teams.
• Extensive Rail & Transit experience in North America, covering infrastructure, systems, and O&M.
• Broad technical and business background in the rail industry, including deep knowledge of standards and best practices as applied to Systems Engineering and Integration.
• Capable of operating in complex, multi-disciplinary program environments with responsibility for multiple system domains.
• English fluency; bilingual in English/French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a core member of the Canada Rail and Transit Solution management team.
• Develop and manage a team of discipline professionals across Canada.
• Support strategic initiatives, client management plans and business plans for RTS Canada ensuring alignment with Canada’s Critical Infrastructure business goals.
• Successfully support and manage Systems Engineering & Integration within Parsons projects in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
• Mobilize company resources or hire new employees to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
• Integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements and delivery flow smoothly.
• Promote technical excellence on projects through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
• Identify and qualify project opportunities across the region, support bid development, and maintain working-level client relationships in coordination with regional BD leadership.
