As the Director of Product Experience (design), you will play a critical role in evolving how our end-users interact with the Coveo platform, ensuring they unlock its full potential and achieve their objectives. You will report directly to the SVP of Products and collaborate closely with product management and engineering leaders to foster user-centric development across all Coveo products.

Your leadership will help simplify every customer interaction with the platform, creating an intuitive self-service experience that integrates core elements with customizable building blocks tailored to customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

1. Represent the design practice and demonstrate the value of user-centric product experiences at the senior leadership level.
2. Develop and champion a user-centered design strategy for all products, ensuring interfaces are intuitive, scalable, visually appealing, and consistent across the platform.
3. Uphold high standards of design and innovation, inspiring your team to do the same.
4. Design systems and components library: Establish and manage design standards, best practices, and processes for UI components and visual language.
5. Spearhead UI component library development to ensure reusability, accessibility, and scalability across platforms.
6. Documentation: Lead creation of user-facing documentation, including manuals, help guides, onboarding tutorials, and API docs, ensuring clarity and usability for technical and non-technical users.

What will qualify you for the role:

1. 8+ years in product design, with a strong portfolio and impactful case studies.
2. 5+ years in leadership and team management, mentoring diverse talents.
3. Ability to influence and build relationships across the organization, securing stakeholder buy-in.
