Job summary

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is seeking a senior member for its Services investment team. You will source, diligence, execute, and manage private investments, often serving on boards or as observers.

The role develops leadership toward independent deal leadership within a highly collaborative, global deal team. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in private equity or corporate development, with strong modeling, negotiating, and governance skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in private equity or corporate development.
• Led deal workstreams and due diligence across financial, operational, and legal areas.
• Proven ability to source and execute investments in Services sectors.
• Strong communication and board interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-lead deals end-to-end with oversight from SMD/MD.
• Conduct industry and company due diligence and build robust financial models.
• Negotiate debt financing and key investment documents.
• Mentor junior team members and develop deal teams.
• Collaborate with global colleagues and portfolio companies on value creation.
