Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a health related or administrative discipline.
• Five years’ progressive management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices, national and provincial standards and regulations relevant to program areas.
• Demonstrated commitment to person and family centered care.
• Dynamic leadership style focused on leading self, engaging others, achieving results, developing coalitions and systems transformation.

Responsibilities

• Endorse a vision of primary health care across PHC offices, clinics and programs in the Central Zone.
• Develop policy and program frameworks for PHC, Family Care Teams, Chronic Disease Management and Prevention, and Rural Health Care Services.
• Collaborate with regional program directors, physicians and external partners to implement strategic directions.
• Provide team-based leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality, integrated care across rural health sites.
