Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Health Services Manager (PHC) to lead community-based primary health care programs and teams. The role focuses on operation, program quality, and strategic development within the PHC framework across Nova Scotia.

The successful candidate will oversee program leadership, HR management, budgeting, and professional standards, aligning with Quality Frameworks in PHC and working closely with physicians and community partners to meet population health needs.

Formación

• Baccalaureate degree in health discipline or relevant health care experience.
• Master’s degree preferred (MHSA / DHA)
• Current registration with the relevant college/association
• Minimum 5 years of leadership/management experience in health care
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for operation, functioning and quality of Primary Health Care programs and teams.
• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of person-centered community-based PHC programs.
• Oversee human resources, fiscal management and professional standards alignment.
• Collaborate with physicians and stakeholders across governance structures to sustain family practice teams.
• Promote a culture of respect, safety, ethics, and confidentiality.
