Job summary

Periscope Search Group in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Director, PMO to lead large-scale programs across PMO, delivery, architecture and QA with onshore and offshore teams. You will stand up PMOs, shape team structures and run steering committees with CIOs and VPs of Engineering.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in technology, with at least 8 years directing complex engagements, and PMP or PgMP is a plus. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Our client is a global digital product engineering firm with 16+ years of work behind it, modernizing platforms and driving digital transformation for Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth brands. As its engagements grow in size and complexity, it is bringing in a senior delivery leader to run the largest of them. You'll own large-scale programs that span project and product management, development, architecture, QA, DevOps and shared services, with onshore and offshore teams of 200 to 500 people, much of it delivered through Indian offshore development centres. You'll stand up and operate PMOs, lead offshore transitions, shape team structures and skill mix, and run steering committees with CIOs, CTOs and VPs of Engineering. Budget, resourcing and quality KPIs sit with you. This suits a program leader with 15+ years in technology, at least 8 of them running complex engagements, who is as credible in a client boardroom as in an offshore delivery review. The firm will consider Senior, Staff or Director level candidates, and PMP or PgMP is a plus.
