Job description

We’re reshaping the way money moves—making payments smarter, faster, and more rewarding.

We started by enabling people to pay some of their largest and most frustrating bills using credit cards, unlocking rewards on expenses they already had. Now, we’re on a much bigger mission: to build a financial super app that acts as a co-pilot for all your money—helping users get more value from every dollar they spend.

As a high-growth fintech startup, we’re operating at the cutting edge of payments and financial innovation. We’re looking for hungry, ambitious people who thrive in fast-moving environments and want to help scale something meaningful from the ground up.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Director, Performance Marketing to take full ownership of paid acquisition across all major channels. This is a hands-on, in-platform individual contributor role built for someone who wants to drive results, not just report on them.

You’ll have significant autonomy to test, optimize, and scale campaigns across the full funnel. As the company grows, this role may expand to include managing performance agencies or contractors. This position is ideal for performance-driven marketers who learn quickly, execute efficiently, and take full ownership of their channels.

What You’ll Do

Own the paid acquisition engine across key channels (e.g., Google/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, affiliates/partners—based on performance signal).

Build and maintain a performance growth model connecting spend → cohort quality → LTV, payback, and margin to guide budget allocation.

Lead end-to-end campaign strategy and execution: targeting, bidding, landing pages, funnel optimization, creative testing, and audience expansion.

Partner closely with Brand and Creative teams to build a repeatable system for high-performing creative through clear briefs, rapid iteration, modular testing, and learning agendas.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure best-in-class attribution and measurement (pixel/CAPI/server-side events, MMP/CDP integrations, event taxonomy, identity resolution where relevant).

Establish an experiment-driven growth culture using incrementality tests, holdouts, geo tests, and lift studies.

Own channel-level forecasting and performance reporting for leadership, including weekly insights, monthly planning, and scenario modeling.

Scale responsibly by optimizing CAC, improving cohort quality, and driving efficient growth as budgets increase.

As the organization grows, help build the team and/or manage agencies across channels, creative operations, and growth analytics.

What You Bring

8+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth, with significant hands-on ownership of paid channels.

Proven ability to scale spend while improving efficiency (CAC/payback) and maintaining strong cohort quality.

Deep expertise in measurement, including attribution, conversion APIs/server-side tracking, funnels, cohorts, and incrementality methodologies.

Strong data fluency, with comfort working in dashboards and metrics such as LTV, retention curves, contribution margin, and cohort analysis (SQL is a plus).

Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate marketing needs into clean, validated tracking implementations.

Strong creative judgment and process, with the ability to run structured creative testing programs without being a designer.

A startup mindset: pragmatic, fast-moving, high-ownership, and comfortable building from zero.

Bonus Points

Experience in startup or high-growth environments

Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or other emerging paid platforms

Familiarity with advanced attribution tools and measurement setups

A creative eye or interest in copywriting and creative brainstorming
