Job summary

Futurpreneur in Toronto, ON, seeks a Director, Partnerships to shape government relations and multi-sector funding partnerships, driving revenue and impact for Canada’s young entrepreneurs. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and serving on the Leadership Team, you will build strong relationships with governments, corporate partners, foundations and major donors while guiding fundraising strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in government relations, public funding, fundraising, or related revenue generation.
• Experience translating policy and entrepreneurship priorities into funding cases and relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; bilingual (French/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year government relations and funding strategy across federal and provincial levels.
• Cultivate relationships with elected officials, public servants and partners to secure funding and ensure reporting.
• Oversee proposals, budgets, and reporting for funders and ensure alignment with priorities.
• Lead Partnerships team, coach staff, and collaborate with Leadership team to meet targets.
