Job summary

Trail Appliances Ltd. in Delta, BC, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a temporary, full-time three-month position with the possibility of extension. You will safely handle products, process orders, and maintain inventory records in a busy warehouse.

Schedule: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday. Starting pay: $23 per hour; experienced candidates: $24.10 per hour. Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of clamp/oversize handling experience.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Proficiency with a warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

• Process and pack incoming orders for shipping.
• Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse system.
• Operate warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe.

Job description

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely handling products in our Delta warehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.

This is a temporary, full-time three-month position with the possibility of extension.

Compensation:

• Starting at $23per hour.
• Experienced Candidates: $24.10 per hour

You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience

Guaranteed yearly wage progression

As a Warehouse Worker, you will

• Be processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness.

To be successful in this role, you should have

• A current or previous Forklift certification.
• A Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to lift up to 50LBS
• A Good oral and written communication skills

Work Environment

• Working in a climate-controlled warehouse
• Comfortable working with large items.
• Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected.
• Schedule: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday
