Canada Life is seeking a Director, Communications to serve as a strategic advisor to executive leaders and to develop and execute strategic internal communications for divisional and national audiences. The role will guide a team and contribute to external messaging supporting our company brand.

The successful candidate will lead a communications function with strong emphasis on change management, collaboration across locations, and delivery of high-impact programs aligned with business

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in communications; 10+ years of related experience or combination of education and experience considered.
• Outstanding writing and communications strategy development skills.
• Proficiency with a broad range of communications tactics including digital platforms.
• Strong collaboration with national teams across locations and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage confidential information and handle ambiguity.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic communications counsel to executives to influence business results.
• Lead and coach a communications team to deliver plans aligned with business strategy.
• Develop strategic communication plans and enable a consistent support model across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent messaging and timing.
