Job description

Location: REMOTE / Montreal, Quebec
This job allows you to work remotely.

A leading Montreal-based tech company specializes in digital twin software solutions, enabling industries to create photorealistic 3D digital replicas of facilities to enhance engineering, maintenance, and operational workflows. The platform serves sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, and AEC.

The Director of Sales North America will lead the sales department, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering, and expertise in CAD, digital twin technologies, and reality capture. The ideal candidate will have experience in the target markets and a proven track record in building and managing sales teams.



You Will:
•Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
•Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
•Sales Operations: Establish and refine sales processes, tools, and metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
•Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand the footprint in existing and new markets.
•Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
•Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and engineering teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.

Must Have Skills:

•Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
•Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales – preferably with SaaS / software sales for the manufacturing, automotive, energy industries.
•Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of CAD software, digital twin technologies, and reality capture methods.
•Market Knowledge: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, or engineering.
•Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor sales teams, driving performance and achieving targets.
•Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals.
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
