Job description

We’re looking for a Director of Product to be part of our Growth team!

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500 lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

This is a remote-first role that can be held in Canada or the United States.

The team:

Jobber is on a mission to empower home service providers to run, grow, and optimize their businesses—transforming the way small businesses operate, scale, and achieve their ambitions. We’re relentlessly customer-focused, embedding deep insights and advanced AI directly into our product to deliver exceptional experiences and tangible results for our customers.

The role:

Reporting to the SVP of Product, the Director of Product, Growth will play a pivotal role in driving Jobber’s next phase of growth. In this role, you’ll lead a talented team of product managers dedicated to accelerating customer acquisition, deepening product adoption, and strengthening customer retention and expansion through innovative, high-impact product experiences. This is your opportunity to shape and scale a team whose work directly improves the lives, businesses, and success of thousands of home service providers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy & Vision: Define, own, and champion a clear and compelling product-led growth strategy. Align cross-functional teams around key initiatives that drive acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing product managers, fostering a culture of experimentation, customer obsession, data-driven decision-making, and accountability.
  • Customer Obsession: Deeply understand the home services industry, our customer segments, and their biggest pain points to develop high-impact product experiences that drive measurable customer value and loyalty.
  • Data & Experimentation: Champion a rigorous experimentation culture by defining clear metrics, evaluating performance, and continually optimizing experiences based on quantitative insights and qualitative feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Data Science, and Design to ensure alignment, prioritize effectively, and accelerate execution.
  • Execution & Accountability: Ensure the product growth organization sets ambitious yet achievable goals and consistently delivers results through rigorous prioritization and execution discipline.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Deep expertise in Product Management, with a strong track record of leading and scaling growth-focused product teams.
  • You’re experienced in driving product-led growth strategies that deliver measurable results across customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • You’re passionate about leveraging customer insights, data analysis, experimentation, and creativity to drive growth outcomes.
  • You thrive collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, aligning teams toward shared goals, and clearly communicating strategic decisions.
  • You’re a proven leader who inspires and develops teams, creating an environment where team members are empowered, motivated, and set up for success.
  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting clear priorities, and executing with speed and purpose.

Nice to Haves:

  • Prior experience in vertical SaaS or SMB-focused products.
  • Experience implementing AI-based applications across mobile and web.
  • Familiarity with modern product analytics and experimentation platforms.

What success looks like:

  • You lead with deep customer obsession and intellectual honesty, rigorously validating assumptions and continuously seeking customer feedback.
  • You’re bold and decisive, comfortable taking calculated risks and moving quickly to learn and improve.
  • You create clarity, enabling your team to move fast, while ensuring strategic alignment and transparent decision-making.
  • You proactively foster a healthy, inclusive team culture, supporting growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Why Jobber?

At Jobber, we are deeply committed to the success and growth of our customers and our people. We offer an inclusive, collaborative environment, empowering you to make a significant impact on thousands of small businesses. Join us as we help our customers—and our teams—achieve meaningful growth and success.

What you can expect from Jobber:

  • A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, retirement savings plan matching, and stock options.
  • A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.
  • Support for all your breaks: from vacation to rest and recharge, your birthday off to celebrate, health days to support your physical and mental health, and parental leave top-ups to support your growing family.
  • A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.
  • To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
