Job summary

McKesson Canada is seeking a Director, Compliance & Ethics to lead privacy, compliance, ethics, and governance programs. You will partner with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, Information Security, and Data Governance to embed privacy and risk controls across the business.

This role oversees PIAs, training, incident response, regulatory engagement, and reporting to senior leadership. A strategic leader with 8–12+ years of experience and strong executive influence will drive an enterprise-wide culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
• 8-12+ years in privacy, compliance, risk, governance or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership delivering complex enterprise initiatives.
• Experience with regulatory interactions, investigations, audits, and risk assessments.
• Strong ability to influence executives and lead cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy, compliance, ethics, and governance initiatives.
• Oversee Privacy Impact Assessments and privacy risk assessments.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing privacy and compliance team.
• Partner with Legal, HR, and IT to strengthen governance and data protection.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters and external reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust programs accordingly.
• Report program performance to senior leadership.
