enVision Community Living is seeking a Director of Operations in Steinbach, MB to lead and administer operational objectives and services, aligning with our mission and values. About the opportunity: As a strategic planner and thinker, the Director of Operations is responsible for overall leadership and administration of operational objectives, services and initiatives, while meeting the vision, mission and values of enVision Community Living. The Director of Operations ensures that the services established for supporting the people whom the agency serves are designed and delivered in a manner that empowers them to achieve their desired personal outcomes. This position is responsible for strategic planning in the areas of service development, financial management, evaluation of services and actively developing external networks. The Director of Operations also provides leadership by delegating tasks to management staff and ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Business or Social Sciences is preferred.
• Post-secondary education in leadership and management is an asset.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ of senior level experience, within a medium/large organization, in progressively more responsible positions. Social Services experience is considered an asset.
• Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key constituent relationships, including Finance, Legal and Human Resources.
• Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
• A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
• Strong knowledge of fiscal management and responsibility, business finance, capital funding, contracts and partnerships.
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills.
• Experience creating and managing budgets for a large, distributed organization.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Additional Information:

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (80 hours bi-weekly)
