Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations and Software Implementation will oversee 30-70 concurrent projects, manage HR functions, and implement processes to drive operational efficiency. This role is a blend of strategic planning, operational execution, and HR leadership, requiring a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of organizational needs and a passion for optimizing processes. Additionally, this role will lead software implementation initiatives, ensuring successful client onboarding, internal deployment of SaaS solutions, and cross-functional alignment on technology rollouts.

Please note that this is a 5 days/week In-Office position, based in our office in Mississauga, ON.

Key Responsibilities section:

Operational Leadership

· Oversee day-to-day operations across technology, marketing, recruitment, and implementation.

· Develop and implement operational processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with BoomerangFX’s growth objectives.

· Manage 30-70 concurrent projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic goals.

· Provide weekly updates to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and KPIs.

· Collaborate with finance to define budgets, track expenses, and drive cost efficiency.

· Partner with the Product and Client Success teams to manage end-to-end software implementation for new and existing clients.

· Coordinate internal adoption and rollout of new SaaS features or modules across departments.

· Develop best practices and standardized procedures for software onboarding, training, and ongoing support.

· Lead HR strategy, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across Canada, the U.S., and international markets.

· Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee relations, acting as the primary contact for HR inquiries and conflict resolution.

· Build and maintain a positive workplace culture focused on employee development and retention.

· Implement learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and organizational scalability.

· Align software adoption and HR systems integration to support a seamless employee experience.

Strategic Planning & Execution

· Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives and operational plans.

· Develop KPIs and dashboards to track progress, inform decision-making, and ensure accountability.

· Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate operational and HR risks.

· Prepare the company for IPO readiness by building scalable and compliant HR and operational processes.

· Lead change management strategies for software implementation across global teams, ensuring minimal disruption and high adoption rates.

· Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve high performance and alignment with company goals.

· Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.

· Build and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure resources align with business needs.

· Manage software vendor relationships and third-party integrators involved in client or internal deployments.

What are we looking for section:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or advanced HR certifications preferred.

· Experience: 10+ years in operations or HR leadership roles, ideally in high-growth or SaaS environments.

· HR Expertise: Proven experience in HR policy implementation, payroll, benefits, and compliance across multiple regions.

· Project Management: 5+ years managing complex projects with a focus on deadlines, cost efficiency, and results.

· Software Implementation: 3+ years leading SaaS implementation projects, ideally in healthcare or enterprise software environments.

· Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.

· Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing metrics, implementing KPIs, and using project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, or Monday.com).

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.

· Adaptability: Proven track record of managing change in rapidly scaling organizations.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the healthcare or SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analytics tools.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credentials.
  • Experience with EMR, CRM, or practice management software deployment.
