  • You want your work to matter in a very literal, very human way
This role is not the right fit if you:
  • You want a role with established processes and a clear playbook already in place
  • You're looking for finance-only or HR-only scope, since this role extends across functionsYou’re looking for a fully remote or hybrid setup, since this is on-site, hands-on, in the building
What You'll Own
  • Finance: budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, audit, and compliance with Ministry of Health, Ontario Health, CRA, and funder requirements
  • HR Operations: payroll, benefits, HRIS, workforce administration, and compliance
  • Facilities & IT: building operations, vendor and service contracts, cybersecurity, and digital systems
  • Procurement & Risk: purchasing, contracts, insurance, emergency preparedness, and business continuity
  • Senior Leadership: a seat at the table with the Executive Director, Director of Care, Medical Director, Director of Development & Communications, plus a share of the leadership on-call rotation
What You Bring
Required:

  • Real experience with budgeting, forecasting, audit, and financial reporting
  • Comfort working with Boards, auditors, regulators, and government funders
Strong assets:
  • Knowledge of Ontario healthcare funding and charitable-sector operations
