Job Description
This individual will be assisting a group of businesses to design, implement, and maintain solutions to comply with Jonas security requirements, improve overall IT efficiencies, and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and financial awareness coupled with a solid understanding of IT security and infrastructure. Excellent communication abilities and outstanding organizational skills are essential. This role offers the chance to collaboratively develop efficient IT security postures across the portfolio and oversee initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuously evolving environment characterized by frequent acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning
- Assist Group Leaders, Business Unit Leaders, and IT staff in understanding and responding to security audit failures reported by auditors.
- Work with various stakeholders to identify information asset owners to classify data and systems as part of a control framework implementation (NIST).
- Recommend, coordinate, and implement technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
- Work with the Group Leaders to develop information security program budget projections based on short and long-term goals and objectives.
Project Leadership- Manage and coordinate operational components of incident management, including detection, response, and reporting.
- Serve as a designated member of the Jonas IT Steering Committee (ITSC).
- Oversee security projects at a portfolio and business unit level and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects within the portfolio.
- Provide security communication, awareness, and training for audiences ranging from senior leaders to field staff.
- Support and guide legal and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support.
Systems Oversight- Work as a liaison with vendors to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements.
- Coordinate, measure, and report on the technical aspects of security management.
- Manage production issues and incidents, participating in problem and change management forums.
- Ensure all audit trails, system logs, and monitoring data sources are reviewed regularly and comply with policies and audit requirements.
- Manage outsourced vendors providing information security functions for compliance with SLAs.
- Track and report on AI usage across companies to ensure compliance with security protocols and ethical guidelines.
M&A Due Diligence- Assist in the M&A due diligence process to assess IT and cybersecurity posture and onboard newly acquired businesses in compliance with Jonas standards.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, GIAC, or Security+ are highly desirable
- 7+ years of experience in information technology
- Experience in the software industry
- Experience in M&A due diligence is an asset
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with adaptability to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all management levels
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
