Arch Insurance Canada Ltd. is seeking a Director of Finance to lead IFRS quarter-end and Canadian statutory reporting, coordinate with actuarial and external consultants, and manage corporate tax and audits. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, leadership, and experience in insurance accounting (IFRS17).

Qualificações

• Experience in P&C Insurance accounting, including IFRS17.
• Strong financial reporting and controls experience.
• Exposure to IFRS and OSFI/USGAAP considerations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IFRS quarter-end reporting and Canadian statutory reporting.
• Coordinate actuarial data inputs with SVP Actuary for regulatory returns.
• Oversee IFRS 17 data inputs for regulatory returns and reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly IFRS financial statement analysis and board materials.
• Manage corporate tax function including Canadian and US GAAP provisions.
• Oversee external/internal audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls over external reporting.
