Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Labour Relations leader for ParaMed home care, based at our Markham head office with hybrid work and travel as required. You will drive labour strategy, bargain settlements, and provide expert guidance on ER issues to managers.

This role requires strong LR experience in unionized settings, knowledge of relevant laws, and a CHRL asset is helpful. You will mentor the LR/ER team and partner with HR to advance organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Labour Relations experience in a unionized environment.
• Experience leading collective bargaining negotiations.
• Ability to advise and counsel across medium to large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead ParaMed LR/ER strategy and execution.
• Negotiate and implement collective agreements; interpret clauses.
• Advise managers on employee relations, investigations, and performance matters.
