Job summary

College of Massage Therapists of Ontario is seeking a strategic, values-driven leader to be the inaugural Director, Digital and Information Strategy. The role shapes how technology, data, and emerging tools support operational excellence and a culture of learning, collaboration, transparency, and service.

Reporting to the Registrar & CEO, the director will champion enterprise-wide digital transformation, governance, and responsible stewardship of information, building a modern, secure digital

Qualifications

• University degree in information systems, computer science, digital strategy, data science, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressively senior leadership experience in digital strategy, information management, technology leadership, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Certifications in information security, data management, project management or change management are preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and building strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a multi-year digital strategy aligned to CMTO’s mission.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to enhance regulatory effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
• Drive modernization across systems, processes, and service delivery channels.
• Establish governance and risk frameworks for AI and emerging technologies.
• Mentor managers and nurture leadership within the portfolio.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data governance, and IT governance programs.
