Job summary

Wibbi is a fast-growing SaaS company transforming rehabilitation and health management. We are seeking a Director of Development to lead and grow our software development team, partnering with the Tech Lead, Product, and executive leadership to scale delivery and accelerate impactful health-tech features.

In this role you will build a culture of high performance, establish clear goals and career development plans, and drive hiring, onboarding, and process improvements to enable scalable growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development or software delivery environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams.
• Proven experience hiring, developing, and retaining development talent.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
• Experience scaling development teams in a startup or growth-stage SaaS company.
• Experience working in healthcare technology, digital health, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with cloud-based software platforms and modern software development practices.

The Director of Development is responsible for leading and growing Wibbi’s software development team while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and features. This role focuses on people leadership, team growth, delivery excellence, and operational effectiveness.

Working closely with the Tech Lead, Product team, and executive leadership, the Director of Development will help scale the development organization, establish best practices, support team development, and create an environment where developers can thrive and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
