Job summary

Greenfield Global is seeking a Director of Net Zero & Carbon Management in Mississauga, hybrid work model. You will lead the enterprise carbon strategy, drive decarbonization initiatives, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable value across North America.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, strong leadership experience in sustainability, and in‑depth knowledge of carbon markets, emissions accounting, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Greenfield Global’s Net Zero and Carbon Management Strategy.

  • Provide guidance on carbon regulations, taxation programs, and lifecycle assessment methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities.

Your Experience Should Include:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, or a related field.Progressive leadership experience in sustainability, decarbonization, carbon management, energy management, or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of carbon markets, emissions accounting, lifecycle assessments, carbon taxation frameworks, and regulatory compliance.Experience developing and implementing Net Zero or sustainability strategies.Experience leading projects within manufacturing, industrial, or energy‑intensive environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with internal business stakeholders to identify and implement the appropriate sustainability improvement certifications and standards.Lead the development and execution of Greenfield Global’s Net Zero and Carbon Management Strategy.Establish, track, and report progress against corporate carbon reduction goals and sustainability objectives.Develop and maintain enterprise‑wide carbon reduction roadmaps and performance scorecards.Provide leadership and guidance on carbon‑related regulations, compliance requirements, carbon taxation programs, Clean Fuel Regulations, lifecycle assessment methodologies, and carbon credit programs.Support the business by evaluating the GHG/CI/Carbon footprint impact of existing and future products, technologies or improvement initiatives.Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams to identify and prioritize carbon reduction opportunities.Lead carbon forecasting, reporting, and performance analytics.Monitor regulatory and market developments to ensure Greenfield remains proactive and positioned for success.Represent Greenfield Global in industry associations, working groups, and sustainability forums.

Total Compensation & Care:
