Job summary

Incyte Canada is seeking a Director, Medical Affairs to shape medical strategy for dermatology, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. You will connect Canadian clinical needs with development programs and evidence priorities, building foundations for informed decisions and patient access.

You will lead medical priorities, engage experts, develop data, and support launch readiness, with potential leadership of an MSL team. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or PharmD in life sciences is preferred.
• At least 10 years in pharma Medical Affairs or similar roles.
• 5–7 years in dermatology, inflammation, or autoimmune diseases.
• Strong understanding of Canadian healthcare and reimbursement.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape strategic medical plans reflecting Canadian needs and portfolio.
• Build sustained relationships with healthcare professionals and experts.
• Lead execution of company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Support readiness for growth of marketed medicines and pipeline assets.
• Provide guidance to MSLs and lead the team where applicable.
• Lead medical education, evidence generation, and cross-functional planning.
