Director, Maintenance Department Pearson LIFT

Role Overview

The Director, Maintenance Pearson LIFT will report to the Senior Director, Maintenance, and serve as the primary liaison between the Maintenance Department and the Pearson LIFT infrastructure redevelopment project at Toronto Pearson Airport. This role involves coordinating communication, ensuring maintenance considerations are integrated throughout the project lifecycle, and providing expertise to align maintenance standards with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Maintenance Department in the Pearson LIFT project, facilitating effective stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure maintenance considerations are incorporated during planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through technical reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain alignment between the Maintenance Department's activities and the LIFT program's goals.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Aviation, or Business.
  • Minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in airport operations and/or maintenance environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as FMA, FMP, CFM, or equivalent are assets.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance.
