Job Summary:

The Director, Learning and Development will lead the CSA Academy and all global Learning Centers, executing core objectives and formulating strategies to foster a culture of learning worldwide. This role involves consulting and collaborating with senior leaders to ensure alignment with the CSA Academy vision, strategic plan, and Leadership Framework. Responsibilities include strategic planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of CSA Academy programs, promoting a global learning culture where employees and managers can access, share, and apply new knowledge and skills to improve performance, aligning with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. Acts as an ambassador for the CSA Academy by promoting leadership and development within a learning and performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement the CSA Academy strategy globally.
  2. Design, develop, and execute leadership, management, and talent development programs, including coaching top talent and leaders.
  3. Ensure initiatives align with the organization's strategic direction.
  4. Provide thought leadership in learning and performance strategy through partnerships with senior leadership and HRBPs, reviewing organizational performance and culture, and recommending organizational design changes.
  5. Oversee learning management systems, including compliance training, and serve as a point of contact for inquiries and feedback.
  6. Coach senior leaders in organizational change management, providing support and tools.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate CSA Academy programs efficiently and cost-effectively.
  8. Stay informed on trends and innovations in organizational design to ensure program relevance and adherence to adult learning principles.
  9. Introduce best practices, tools, and methods to position CSA Group as a top global organization.
  10. Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts to deliver CSA Academy initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
  11. Collaborate on initiatives supporting employee career growth, including competency identification and development planning.
  12. Provide consultation and resources for problem-solving in learning and development globally.
  13. Report to the VP, Talent and Career Development, and lead a team of L&D practitioners.
  14. Participate in cross-functional projects, conduct organizational assessments, and support strategic interventions.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • University degree in Adult Education, Human Resources, or Organizational Development.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant learning and development experience.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience.
  • Advanced presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Certified Human Resources Leader experience in adult education within a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop people.
  • Understanding of business demands and training needs forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced consulting skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Deep knowledge of various learning delivery methods, including emerging methodologies.
  • Ability to build credibility and strong relationships across the organization.
  • Strategic leadership, performance-driven, and influential execution skills.
