Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Director of HR Operational Excellence to design and re-engineer HR processes across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid Markham-based role. You will own the HR workflows supported by Workday and ServiceNow, building scalable, well-documented processes that improve efficiency and employee experience.

In this senior leadership role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, apply Lean Six Sigma methods, develop business cases, and embed new practices across HRIS,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in progressive HR operations or transformations.
• 3+ years in director or senior leadership role.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
• Workday HCM and HR systems experience.
• Experience in multi-site or unionized environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of HR processes across lifecycle.
• Lead re-engineering of inefficient, poorly documented processes.
• Define ServiceNow HRSD platform requirements for ESC operations.
• Maintain HR process maps and SOPs reflecting practice.
• Promote standardized design standards across HR functions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop business cases.
• Embed redesigned processes, train teams, and measure outcomes.
• Foster continuous improvement culture within HR.
