WHAT'S THE JOB?

We’re seeking a Director, HR Business Partner to join our team. This role involves being a trusted advisor, strategic thinker, and connector—someone who fosters collaboration and drives organizational success.

About The Role

  • Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Build trust-based relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Provide support on workforce planning and performance development.
  • Coach leaders to enhance team performance and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Support organizational change and business transformation.
  • Manage labor relations, including negotiations and compliance.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues with confidence.
  • Utilize data to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Collaborate on programs supporting talent, engagement, and development.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field and HR Professional Designation (CHRP/CHRL).
  • 5+ years of senior HRBP experience in unionized and non-unionized environments.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
  • Experience in a consultative, people-first HR leadership role with strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with understanding of business operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Passion for fostering connection and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with HR systems and data tools (HRIS, ATS, etc.).
  • Ability to travel nationally within Canada as needed.
