Job summary

Fred Victor is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Health Information Governance & Privacy. You will guide the privacy program, develop governance policies, and oversee PHIPA compliance while collaborating with Legal, IT, HR, and program leadership.

The role aims to strengthen information stewardship across the organization. Hybrid work from the Toronto area with a focus on privacy risk mitigation, audits, and education.

Qualifications

• University degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, Public Administration, Information Management, Business Administration, Law, Privacy Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional privacy certification (e.g., CHIM, CIPP/C, CIPM, CPHIMS) is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in privacy, health information management, information governance, compliance, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Health Information Governance Framework.
• Develop, review, and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure PHIPA compliance and readiness for audits and regulatory inquiries.
