Job summary

Peoples Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst – Privacy to lead the privacy risk management program across our Canadian offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. Reporting to the AVP of RCM Program Governance, you will provide privacy advisory services and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will develop policies, conduct privacy impact assessments, manage breaches, and partner with stakeholders to embed privacy by design across initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in privacy compliance, ideally within financial services.
• Post-secondary degree/designation from an accredited college or university.
• Strong knowledge of privacy compliance principles and practices.
• Strong knowledge of information privacy issues and information systems.
• Demonstrate sound judgement, problem-solving, and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing development and maintenance of the privacy risk management program.
• Provide privacy advisory support to internal and external stakeholders and embed privacy by design where possible.
• Lead responses to privacy inquiries and complete privacy impact assessments for internal projects and partner onboarding.
• Support management in streamlining privacy compliance issue identification and escalation.
• Collaborate with teams to incorporate privacy considerations into new initiatives.
