Your professional judgment, analytical thinking, and leadership will enable you to set clear standards, oversee reporting to senior management, the President and CEO, and the Board of Directors, and lead a team of professionals.If you are an ethical, collaborative, and influential person who can clearly communicate complex information and address significant issues in a fast‑paced environment, this could be the role for you.What you’ll doDevelop and implement a strategic plan defining employee integrity standards in accordance with legal requirements, public‑sector guidance, and standards applicable to Canadian Crown corporationsLead integrity, regulatory compliance, privacy, and access to information programs, and ensure their continuous improvementAlign the regulatory compliance and privacy programs with the organization’s risk appetite, in collaboration with risk management leadersOversee reports for senior management, the President and CEO, and the Board of Directors, and make recommendations regarding tolerance, reporting approaches, and program outcomesDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with federal officials, legal counsel and counterparts at Canadian Crown corporationsProvide leadership, guidance, and support to the ethics, regulatory compliance, and privacy teams by establishing clear expectations, priorities, and objectivesWhat you’ll bring to the teamRequired qualifications:A university degree in law, business administration, risk management, governance, public policy, or in a related fieldA minimum of ten years of progressive, relevant professional experience, ideally in a complex, regulated, or public-sector organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated ability to translate legislative, regulatory, or policy requirements into practical, risk‑proportionate frameworks, programs, and controlsProven ability to lead a high‑performing team of specialists, along with strong coaching, communication, and relationship‑building skillsSignificant experience in one or more of the following fields: regulatory compliance, risk management, ethics, governance, privacy, law, audit, or a related fieldProficiency in both official languages (English and French) and proven ability in oral and written communicationPreferred qualifications:Experience integrating regulatory compliance or privacy programs into enterprise risk managementExperience building relationships with federal oversight bodies or counterparts at Canadian Crown corporationsExperience developing learning, coaching, or communication strategies to raise awareness and strengthen organizational standardsExcellent judgment, rigorous analytical thinking, and a high degree of professional ethics and integrityNot sure you meet every requirement?
