Sun Life in Canada is seeking a Director, FR&A to lead enterprise reporting and forecasting for the Board of Directors and Executive Team. You will manage a high-performing team of financial professionals and translate complex concepts into clear executive communications.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements, exposure to multiple business groups, and opportunities to impact enterprise strategy and investor messaging.

Qualifications

• CPA or CFA with 8–10 years in Insurance or Financial Services.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Translate complex concepts into concise messaging for executive audiences.
• Strong analytic and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of reporting and forecasting timelines and coordination with Business Groups.
• Own quarterly management reporting and narrative development for boards/execs.
• Ensure executive materials are concise, decision-oriented, and well-supported by visuals.
• Develop an enterprise management view of results with key drivers and implications.
• Lead driver-based forecasting and communicate sensitivities and run-rate trajectories.
• Drive reporting enhancements with enterprise partners to improve quality and speed.
• Lead and develop a team of financial professionals.
