Job description

Position Summary

As the Director of Digital Lifecycle Marketing, you will have primary leadership responsibility for leading the strategy, roadmap and execution of all marketing messaging in owned channels including, but not limited to, email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging. This includes growth of reach and engagement through those assets and launching and growing adoption of compelling digital solutions for customers. The role will build and manage all elements of our CRM channel segmentation and lifecycle marketing.

What you'll do...
  1. Primary responsibility for setting the strategy and roadmap for all CRM channels including, but not limited to, email, push notification, SMS, and in-app messaging.
  2. Primary business KPIs: CRM channel revenue, ROI, customer engagement, revenue per customer.
  3. Partner with multiple stakeholders across Digital marketing, eCommerce, financial services, insights & analytics, technology (product management, engineering, UX), operations, finance and HR to influence and execute strategy and plans.
  4. Develop short term and long term strategy, marketing and technical roadmap including integrated lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  5. Be responsible for channel vendor and agency relationships and oversee CRM channel budget.
  6. Leverage customer insights, feedback, market data and competitive intelligence to define and articulate compelling differentiated customer value propositions and positioning for Walmart’s digital engagement programs that drives accelerated digital reach, adoption and continued digital engagement and retention.
  7. Lead a team of CRM and lifecycle marketing managers, coaching them towards top business performance and continued individual career development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred.
  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in
    • Industries: eCommerce, Retail, B2C, D2C, Loyalty, Fintech.
    • Roles: Product Management, Digital Marketing, Management Consulting.
  • 5+ Years of people leadership experience.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Expertise in developing, presenting and articulating a multi-year vision, strategy, long range plans, annual operating plans and short term tactical plans.
  • Highly analytical and numbers oriented. You will be tested.
  • Excellent communications skills – leading meetings, work sessions, brainstorming, planning sessions, iterations and briefing development discussions; top notch presentation skills.
  • Seasoned in managing budgets, timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams.
  • Bias for action and moving with speed while bringing teams and stakeholders along.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills including experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Positive, people- and results-oriented, with a growth mindset and an energetic attitude.
