Achieves sales and other targets established by business plans. Continuously assesses and improves work processes for sales, service management, risk management, and compliance within prescribed limits to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Optimizes opportunities through deal teams and sales calls, maximizing business success. Influences the strategic direction of the line of business, assisting with development, prioritization, and implementation of business, technology, sales, service, channel optimization, and customer experience enhancements.

  1. Leads and executes business development plans to meet or exceed business goals.
  2. Implements cross-selling initiatives across all areas of the firm, transitioning clients into sales.
  3. Provides deal structuring expertise and adapts to knowledge base needs.
  4. Identifies issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication and productivity monitoring.
  5. Collaborates to generate ideas, identify client solutions, and deliver timely solutions.
  6. Provides strategic input and acts as a trusted advisor for business decisions.
  7. Makes recommendations on strategy and new initiatives based on in-depth business understanding.
  8. Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  9. Develops business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing ROI.
  10. Recommends priorities, advises on resources, and develops strategic roadmaps.
  11. Advises on sales strategies based on market and industry insights.
  12. Networks with industry contacts for insights and best practices.
  13. Coordinates database management, ensuring data alignment with governance standards.
  14. Leads change management initiatives, including planning, stakeholder management, and evaluation.
  15. Manages risk within a complex portfolio efficiently and timely.
  16. Oversees review processes, documentation, and policy adherence.
  17. Executes operational programs, ensuring quality and adaptability.
  18. Acts as the daily sales contact for clients, handling product info, pricing, and requirements.
  19. Supports pre-sales activities like pitch prep and client research.
  20. Tracks implementation requests, ensures accurate billing, and recommends support material improvements.
  21. Prepares client information packages and facilitates solutions for client needs.
  22. Maintains accurate client data and operates as a resource at an enterprise level.
  23. Applies expertise to address complex, ambiguous situations and implements trend-based changes.
  24. Broader accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a related post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  2. Industry knowledge combined with education and experience.
  3. In-depth/verbal & written communication skills.
  4. Expertise in analytical, problem-solving, influence, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  5. Ability to manage ambiguity effectively.
