Achieves sales and other targets established by business plans. Continuously assesses and improves the work processes for sales and service management, risk management, and compliance within prescribed limits to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Optimizes opportunities through deal teams and sales calls, maximizing business success. Influences the strategic direction of the line of business assisting with the development, prioritization, and implementation of business, technology, sales, and service initiatives, channel optimization, and enhanced customer experience.
- Develops new business by contacting prospects and clients, and by cross-selling bank products and services including credit, trust/investment, and cash management. Participates and provides leadership in bank and community activities to increase brand visibility and enhance new business opportunities.
- Applies deep expertise in bank products, processes, and systems to ensure a high-quality client experience.
- May coordinate closing with the closing department, clients, and attorneys.
- Serves as a daily escalation resource to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Advises clients on loan products, options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
- May advise business clients on cash management/deposits solutions.
- Advises clients on business management and other financial matters where possible.
- Develops and manages banking relationships, planning for prospective clients.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
- Provides oversight, monitoring, and reporting for regulatory remediation within assigned business groups.
- Analyzes financial data to determine client needs for proper structuring of bank products and services.
- Monitors performance, addresses issues, and ensures proper documentation for loans and cash management services.
- Reviews loan applications and service agreements for completeness and accuracy.
- Evaluates and structures loan requests, determining appropriate documentation for approved loans.
- Negotiates terms for credit and cash management services, including costs, repayment, and collateral.
- Ensures extension of credit and delivery of services comply with policies and guidelines.
- Follows up post-closing to ensure documentation completion and filing.
- Acts as the main sales contact for clients regarding product information, pricing, and implementation.
- Gathers detailed information to advance sales processes, including documentation completion.
- Provides support in pre-sales activities such as pitches and client research.
- Tracks implementation requests and ensures timely processing and accurate billing.
- Recommends improvements to sales support materials based on feedback.
- Prepares call information packages and gathers data to facilitate client solutions.
- Assists with sales and service administration to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Maintains accurate client information in bank systems.
- Focuses primarily on business/group within BMO but may have broader responsibilities.
- Provides specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
- Uses judgment to diagnose and solve problems within established rules.
- Works independently managing non-routine situations.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of bank products, processes, and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Influence skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
Salary: $68,000.00 - $126,000.00
Pay Type: Salaried
