Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Director, Control Insights & Reporting in Toronto to lead centralized governance reporting across SBUs, delivering high-quality risk insights and executive materials.

You will drive end-to-end reporting, develop Power BI dashboards, and partner with senior leaders to translate complex data into actionable narratives, while enhancing processes and standards across the bank.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in controls reporting, operational risk, or governance within financial services.
• Experience presenting materials to senior executives and governance committees.
• Assets if supporting PBB, NACB, GWM, or CM lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of operational risk reporting for governance committees.
• Oversee automation and transition to Power BI dashboards with clear schedules.
• Develop visual insights and narratives for senior leaders.
• Coordinate requests from SBUs, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
• Maintain KRIs and refresh Risk Appetite metrics for SBUs.
