Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada’s Corporate Real Estate team seeks a Director of Canadian Portfolio Management to lead the Canadian CRE Office portfolio (about 8.5 million sq ft). You will drive integrated services across strategy, transactions, capital projects, facilities management and workplace operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Corporate Real Estate experience.
• Leadership experience directing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong portfolio management and senior client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communications.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, cost controls and savings initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop relationships with senior business leaders and translate priorities into CRE solutions.
• Lead CRE strategy across the Canadian portfolio with Global Centers of Excellence.
• Provide senior leadership during significant building, facilities and workplace incidents.
• Oversee third-party suppliers and service providers with clear performance expectations.
• Oversee operating and capital budgets and forecasts, delivering CRE savings targets.
• Drive governance, risk management, and compliance to ensure safe, compliant premises.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing CRE team across a matrixed environment.
• Identify and resolve service delivery issues to improve productivity and client experience.
