Job description

Granum is the leading software company devoted to serving landscapers and arborists across North America, providing intuitive, industry-specific solutions designed to help them improve and grow their businesses while impressing their customers. Granum brings together three of the most trusted software names in the industry — LMN, SingleOps, and Greenius — into one powerful software ecosystem. More than just a software company, Granum works alongside its clients to implement systems for estimating, scheduling, crew training, invoicing, and payments, blending technology with hands-on onboarding and human support. The company's mission is to help industry professionals unlock their potential and achieve their most important goals, all united by the belief that its clients’ success is not just a milestone, but a shared mission.

As a team, we’re on a mission to reshape an age-old industry, and we’re looking for people who thrive on challenging and meaningful work. Our environment is highly collaborative, innovative, and supportive, with a shared commitment to having fun while making an impact. We live by our core values: We Before Me, Bias to Act, The Extra 1%, Accountable to Outcomes, Unconditional Transparency, and Forgiveness. If this resonates with you, we’d love to meet you and explore how you can help us build the future of the green industry!

Our culture and growth has been recognized with multiple awards, it’s a great time to join!

Role Purpose

Run the creative function day to day so that brand and creative output ships on deadline and at a consistent standard — without the EVP acting as the bottleneck. The EVP owns brand direction and holds the creative pen on high-stakes work; this role organizes the team, enforces the standard, manages the people, and executes. It is an operator's seat: part player, mostly coach.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own creative intake, prioritization, and deadlines across every channel, so nothing stalls waiting on the EVP.
  • Manage and develop the Lead Creative and the freelance roster; set expectations, give feedback, and hold the team to delivery.
  • Build and maintain creative systems — Figma component libraries, templates, and brand-asset governance so quality scales without bespoke effort every time.
  • Act as guardian of brand consistency — enforcing the EVP's standard across departments and catching drift before it ships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with demand generation, product, events, and partnerships to translate their needs into creative that lands on time.
  • Stay hands-on on tier-1 work — roughly 30% of the role is producing in Figma, not just directing.
  • Drive adoption of AI creative tooling to lift team throughput.

Must-Haves

  • Advanced Figma — building systems and component libraries, not just finished deliverables.
  • Proven management of a creative team, plus real project / traffic management under high volume.
  • Demonstrated record of organization and on-time delivery across competing priorities.
  • Comfortable operating as a strong second to a senior leader who holds brand direction — confident running the function, not fighting to own the strategy.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience standing up or overhauling a creative-operations function.
  • Background spanning both in-house and agency environments.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted design and production workflows.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first two quarters: creative requests move through a clear intake and prioritization system, deadlines are met without escalation, the Lead Creative and freelancers are managed and productive, brand consistency holds across departments, and the EVP is freed from day-to-day creative traffic to focus on higher-leverage work.

Compensation

  • Canada-based candidates: 155,000-165,000 CAD
  • US-based candidates: 155,000-165,000 USD

Reasons why you would love it here!

  • In Canada, we provide an employer-funded HSA-based benefits plan with drug, dental, and mental health coverage - giving you a flexible way to manage your healthcare needs.
  • We’re committed to your financial future, with 401(k) matching for U.S. employees and RRSP matching for those in Canada.
  • We invest in your growth through tailored career development conversations and support for tools, courses, and resources to help you thrive.
  • And when it comes to work-life balance? We offerunlimited Paid Time Off, paid company holidays, and a company-wide winter break from December 24 to January 1 - so you can truly recharge.
