BMO Capital Partners in Calgary is seeking a highly motivated Director to lead investments from origination through closing. You will evaluate fund investments, direct equity and subordinated debt, negotiate documentation and present to committees while mentoring junior team members.

The role requires 7+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital or related fields, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

The Director will be responsible for leading transactions from start to finish, including origination, structuring, due diligence, negotiation and closing of new investment opportunities. As a Director, you will assist the Managing Directors with coverage for newly onboarded clients and work closely with a variety of internal partners across BMO. You will work alongside the Managing Directors to help mentor a team of associates to evaluate new investment opportunities and manage/monitor the portfolio.
