Job summary

Verathon is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead execution across the Airway portfolio from Burnaby, BC. You will oversee a growing suite of new products, platform extensions, and VAVE initiatives, reporting to Engineering leadership and partnering with Product Marketing, Operations, and QA/RA to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in a regulated environment.

You will manage a team of 7 program managers, drive governance and standard work, and collaborate across sites while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Engineering or a technical discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of hardware product development experience.
• 5+ years in program or project management.
• 3+ years leading a team of program managers.
• Experience in medical device or other regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of product development in regulated environments; familiarity with ISO 13485 preferred.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel, including monthly presence at Verathon headquarters in Bothell, WA.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program execution across the airway portfolio—new products, platform extensions, sustaining programs, and VAVE—driving throughput as program volume increases.
• Own program budgets and integrated schedules across the portfolio.
• Drive on-time, on-budget delivery meeting requirements, quality standards, and readiness for design transfer, launch, and production.
• Own the portfolio resource review to align capacity with commitments.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Marketing to align program plans with technical execution and product strategy.
• Establish and maintain program plans, milestones, and risk management practices for predictable delivery.
• Define and drive program metrics for transparency and decision-making.
