Job summary

SWIM seeks a dynamic Director, Accounting to lead the corporate accounting function at its Vancouver headquarters. The role oversees managers who supervise teams in accounting, including AP and AR, and collaborates closely with tax, FP&A, treasury, and risk management to drive optimal financial operations.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in accounting and finance, CPA designation, and proven ability to mentor leaders in a multinational environment. Manufacturing/retail exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required with strong public accounting foundations.
• MBA is advantageous for broader business insights.
• Experience leading corporate accounting, AP and AR in a multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead managers and senior managers across accounting functions.
• Collaborate with tax, FP&A, treasury, risk, and payroll to align processes.
• Drive post-acquisition integration activities and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a team of 3–4 direct reports and a total team over 14.
