Job summary

PartSource in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a customer-focused team and drive store performance through coaching, contests, and recognition.

You will own recruiting, scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to LP standards, while delivering an exceptional customer experience and developing your team through regular feedback and training.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a retail environment with 12-24 months in a leadership role.
  • Fundamental computer skills are an asset.
  • Passion for automotive or automotive enthusiasts.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts aftermarket industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team, recognizing performance through programs and contests.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching, and communicate clearly in huddles and meetings.
  • Develop and implement recruiting and hiring strategy for the store team.
  • Ensure execution of visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing.
  • Drive annual shrink targets through education, LP/audit standards, and inventory control.
  • Oversee and optimize weekly scheduling for sales and support functions.
  • Support the store and fleet maintenance using relevant management systems and certifications.
  • Lead planogram execution and merchandising directives.
  • Ensure accurate shipping/receiving/returns processing per policies.
  • Provide customer service leadership to ensure exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll doLeadership:Continually motivates team and performance through recognition programs, store contests, customer compliments, etcProvide mentorship to teams and influence continuous growth, exemplifying our leadership brandCommunicate in a clear and concise manner to team, leading effective huddles / meetings / coaching sessions, keeping team well informed of pertinent informationDevelop and lead recruiting and hiring strategy for store, maintain a complete teamOperations:Demonstrate and follow up on execution of PartSource visual compliance standards, store maintenance and pricing standardsResponsibility to deliver annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standards and rigid inventory controlEnsure processes and systems are followed for the execution of tech shop service programs, including maintenance and compliance standardsCreate and / or monitors the creation of efficient store weekly scheduling for both sales and support functionsProvides support as required for overall Store and equipment maintenance and compliance for PS fleet, using FOS fleet management maintenance system, driver compliance, and appropriate certifications for all rolesExecutes and or delegates delivery of planograms, and merchandising directivesEnsures accurate execution and completes daily review of shipping /receiving/ returns processing and documentation according to company policiesProvides support as required for overall Store and equipment maintenance and compliance for PS fleet, using FOS fleet management maintenance system, driver compliance, and appropriate certifications for all rolesCustomer Service:An ambassador and leader of the customer experience you look to develop relationships with customers and provide mentorship and coaching to your team to ensure the sameSupports the commercial sales team by providing customer service supportEnsures and leads execution of the customer experience, and provides resolution for all customer concernsTraining:Coach and develop store and management team, through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback and ongoing supportCreate development plans and conduct annual appraisals for management team; to improve any performance gapsComplete and hold team accountable to complete required training within timeframesAble to work retail hours including scheduled evenings, weekends and holidaysWho you areWe are looking for individuals who are:Business Savvy – you have a customer focused mindset and can plan, execute, and drive salesLeaders – you lead by example and have a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring your teamCulture and brand ambassadors – you love the work and take pride in our brandIf you’re a proven retail manager with a passion for people, our industry, and driving an exceptional customer experience, then this is definitely the place to be.What you bringMinimum of 4 years of experience in a retail environment with 12- 24 months in a leadership roleFundamental computer skills an assetPassion for automotive or automotive enthusiastsStrong knowledge of automotive parts aftermarket industryA good base of knowledge of automotive operating systems including point of saleAssets:Possession of a valid driver's license is an assetAutomotive Training or Certification is an assetWe’re always looking for great talent!
