Job summary

Karis Disability Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Northeastern Ontario, including weekend shifts and possible last-minute call-ins.

The role focuses on promoting rights, independence, and personal growth, helping people learn daily living skills and connect with their communities. A valid G license and automotive insurance are required to support mobility and outreach.

Qualifications

• Full G license and automobile insurance are required.
• Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in community settings is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and last-minute call-ins.
