Job summary

Seasons Retirement Communities LP in High River, AB is seeking a Dining Server to provide meals and service for residents and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and smooth catering events.

You will take orders, clear tables, maintain a clean dining area, and support kitchen and service staff during evenings. This part-time permanent role offers a supportive culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen is an asset.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is considered an asset.
• Must be able to operate related equipment.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
• Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
• Must have a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Current Safe Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for serving to residents and ensure satisfaction with meal service.
• Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food/beverages per procedures.
• Unpack and store supplies; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Wash, clean and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment.
• Operate and clean food equipment and maintain the dining area.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

We’re looking for a Dining Server. This role is responsible for serving meals and servicing catering events while ensuring an exceptional dining experience to residents and guests.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare food for serving to the residents and ensuring resident satisfaction with meal service
• Take orders, setting and stripping tables and serving food/beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures and all applicable regulations
• Unpack and store supplies; maintain work and storage areas in a clean, safe sanitary manner
• Wash, clean and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and service
• Operate and clean food equipment, furniture and maintain dining area
• All other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Dty line # 16 - Evenings (4PM - 8PM) - 12 hours biweekly
• Dty line # 11 - Evenings (4PM - 8PM) - 32 hours biweekly
• Dty line # 15 - Evenings (4PM - 8PM) - 32 hours biweekly
• Dty line # 16 - 12 hours biweekly
• Dty line # 11 - 32 hours biweekly
• Dty line # 15 - 32 hours biweekly
