Millcroft Inn & Spa in Alton, Ontario, seeks a Dining Room Supervisor to lead our dining team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a full-time commitment with availability in the evenings and weekends, working with a tenured team to maintain high standards of service and hospitality.

You will supervise setup, monitor staff, uphold SOPs, manage guest interactions, and ensure proper inventory, equipment, and monetary transactions are handled efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out standards and procedures.
  • Monitor staff arrival and departure.
  • Supervise dining room setup and opening/closing duties.
  • Resolve guest and team member complaints.
  • Maintain extensive Food and Wine knowledge.
  • Ensure equipment is used, stored, cleaned and inventory is prepared.
  • Handle monetary transactions during shifts.
  • Assist with inventory control and stock monitoring.

Millcroft Inn & Spa is currently seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join our growing team! Job Title: Dining Room Supervisor Location: 55 John St, Alton, ON L7K 0C4 Property: Millcroft Inn & Spa This posting is for an existing within Lais Hotel Properties Limited.

Our Dining Room Team is instrumental in our success by helping to create special and lasting memories for our Guests.

In overseeing our Dining Room Team, you will enjoy working in a fast paced, Team oriented environment. Your passion for Guest service and flawless attention to detail will combine to produce a seamless event with personalized attention.

Please note this position requires full-time open availability including evening & weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out standards and procedures
  • Monitor staff arrival & departure
  • Supervise D.R. setup
  • All opening and closing duties
  • Ability to resolve guest and team member complaints
  • Extensive Food and Wine Knowledge
  • To ensure all opening and closing procedures are carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services.
  • To ensure all equipment in the department is correctly used, maintained and properly stored and is always kept clean, that inventory preparation is carried out and ensuring department is running efficiently.
  • To be responsible for any monetary transactions during shift.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Inspection of Dining Room
  • Knowledge of daily specials
  • Monitor stock on daily bases
  • Assist with inventory control
