Job summary

The Granite Club is seeking a full-time Dining Reservations Lead to drive occupancy and act as a brand ambassador across dining outlets. You will mentor the coordinator team, supervise reservations, and optimize seating flow to support front-of-house service and kitchen operations.

The Granite Club is looking for a full time Dining Reservations Lead who serves in a key leadership role, acting as a business & occupancy driver, and brand ambassador across the Club’s dining outlets. Championing the G.O.L.D. Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive Feature & Activation Bookings: Actively promote, drive demand, and maximize Member reservations for specialty dining experiences, featured menus, and outlet activations; uphold booking parameters, capacity caps, and applicable cancellation or no-show policies.
  • Lead & Mentor Dining Res. Coordinators: Oversee daily desk operations, communication standards, and task execution; guide team members through Member conflict resolution and service recovery standards, empowering the team to take ownership and follow through to resolution.
  • Capacity Governance & Seating Optimization: Dynamically coordinate seating grids, floor layouts, and table management systems across dining rooms to maintain balanced operational flow between service teams and the kitchen.
  • Pre-Shift Briefings & QQQ Syncing: Lead coordinator provides pre-shift briefings on QQQ Members, special celebrations, and pacing targets; audit Member profiles and communicate dietary preferences and allergy notes to culinary teams daily.
  • Large Party & Group Menus: Coordinate with culinary and restaurant leadership on group menu and service requirements to ensure seamless dining execution within restaurant outlets.
Operation Duties
  • Proactively manage and oversee all restaurant reservations across Club dining outlets by reviewing reservations, Member preferences, special requests, large parties, QQQ reservations, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and table allocations a minimum of seven (7) days in advance
  • Verify reservation staging, table allocations, and outlet seating availability prior to each meal period.
  • Manage live waitlists and reservation platforms, facilitating prompt, personalised Member recognition and seating flow across outlets.
  • Execute reservation confirmation workflow in accordance with established departmental timelines and communicate relevant notes to floor leadership.
  • Coordinate menu collateral availability, presentation, and daily feature insert distribution for service teams.
  • Oversee the care, staging, and end-of-shift security of departmental equipment; compile and distribute nightly operational and revenue cover reports.
  • Perform other related operational duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Outlets Management.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 education and 2+ years of related hospitality, reservations, or FOH leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Strong decision making capabilities, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain impeccable grooming and a professional demeanor at all times.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and take direction.
  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and peer leadership skills under pressure.
  • High proficiency with modern table management systems, POS platforms, and spreadsheet software.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification;
  • Flexible to work variable shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00.
