Job summary

Agilus by Synergie seeks a Digital Technical Analyst – Projects in Calgary, Alberta, in a hybrid environment. The role supports Midstream capital projects across Pre-FEED, FEED, FID and Detailed Design, and defines and documents business processes and software requirements with stakeholders.

You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, liaise between business and Digital teams, and help select solutions while communicating tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10+ years business analysis experience
• CBAP or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior leaders
• Strong communication of complex technical information to stakeholders

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Digital Technical Analyst in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. The Digital Technical Analyst – Projects will assist in the delivery of information technology services to support Midstream capital projects, primarily in the Pre-FEED, FEED, FID and Detailed Design phases. Define and document business processes and software requirements in conjunction with all relevant stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between business and Digital teams by facilitating communication and determining software objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
• Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
• Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
• Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
• Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 10+ Years Business Analysis required
• Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP) preferred
• Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
