Job summary

VERB, a digital marketing agency in Halifax, seeks a Project Manager to translate ideas into executable web solutions and lead cross-functional teams. You will own project scope, requirements, and timelines, coordinating with Development, Marketing, UX and Creative to deliver high-impact digital campaigns.

You will drive Agile practices, manage Jira boards, and communicate with clients to ensure successful deliveries on time and budget.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience
• Post-secondary education in project management, marketing, advertising, business, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience
• PMI-ACP, ECBA/CPRE, or ITIL V3 Foundation are assets
• Experience with a range of digital media
• Experience implementing Agile project management methodologies
• Experience developing requirements, user stories/cases, and creative briefs
• Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Drupal)
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
• Knowledge of project delivery stages: Discover–Definition–Design–Develop–Deploy
• Ability to drive pragmatic solutions and host workshops
• Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, highly organized

Responsibilities

• Translate ideas into technically feasible web solutions
• Collaborate with Development, Marketing, UX and Creative teams
• Define and prioritize project requirements and create technical specs
• Manage Kanban and Sprint boards in Jira
• Develop project schedules and status reports
• Lead client workshops and deliverables
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Provide end-user training and stakeholder updates
• Assist in continuous improvement within Project Delivery
