Job summary

Evolving Web in Montreal is seeking a seasoned technical project manager to oversee web design and development projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure client success in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing complex technical projects at an agency or digital firm, with experience in Drupal and WordPress, and proficiency with Jira, Redmine, or Basecamp. Remote-friendly with Montreal hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience overseeing complex technical projects in an agency, web development firm, or digital marketing company.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience working in an agile environment and with web development projects.
Knowledge of Drupal or WordPress and other web platforms.
Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency with web project management tools (JIRA, Redmine, Basecamp).
Understanding of usability, accessibility, and user experience best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee all stages of projects from conception to development using agile methods.
Create project timelines and guide internal processes and checkpoints.
Lead a team of designers and developers and track status and budget.
Report project schedule, budget, and progress to clients and internal teams.
Act as a client representative and ensure client satisfaction.
