We are currently recruiting a Digital Press Operator to join our team. The Digital Press Operator sets up and operates the HP Digital printing press to produce pressure-sensitive labels and related products.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing high-quality labels to meet job specifications
• Inputting data into job management software
• Loading jobs into press, filling ink cans, and pumping prescribed inks
• Starting press, adjusting speed and alignment
• Adjusting printing impression and running approval strips
• Inspecting printed samples for imperfections
• Communicating with supervisors about job specifics and issues
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and performing routine maintenance
• Keeping work areas organized and clean

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, with at least 3 years of related experience
• 5 years of experience operating a press in a printing environment, preferably digital
• Experience with Films and Paper, re-insertion experience a plus
• P. Operator Level 1 Certification
• Ability to perform basic math and read measurement devices
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close, color, and depth perception
