Job summary

Pro Staff is seeking a Digital Press Field Engineer to act as the frontline technical expert for customers in the Montreal area. You will install, diagnose, and maintain digital presses, while delivering on-site and remote support to ensure peak performance.

Expect hands-on training, customer coaching, and cross-functional collaboration across Sales and Applications teams. The role emphasizes proactive diagnostics, Ramp-Up for new customers, and strong communication with operators and production

Qualifications

3+ years of field service experience, preferably with digital printing equipment
Solid understanding of digital press technology, color theory, and RIP/workflow systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and calibrate digital presses at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and process-related issues with speed and precision
Perform routine maintenance, software upgrades, and preventive service
Deliver on-site and remote technical support as needed
Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports
Lead Ramp-Up programs for new customers during first 30–90 days of production
Train press operators and production staff on operation, color management, maintenance and troubleshooting
Collaborate with Sales, Applications, and Customer Success teams for onboarding
